What Our customers say about us...
By Ms. Angelica and Mr. Hans -
We visited Bhutan from Oct 4th through 14th Oct. Karma the owner of the company put special efforts to make our holiday a long time to remember.
We got the excellent impression of the culture , Nature ,People and the religion of your country.
We also had a very reliable pre tour experience with Bhutan Mahayana Tours which made it very easy to decide which company to travel with. Without any doubt we would recommend this company to other fellow travellers specially if you love to have hiking and culture tours mixed together. We have hiked to some of the least visited places in Bhutan during our 11 days tour.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH OR KADEN CHE LA AS YOU SAY IN BHUTAN

My name is Clementine and I am from Australia. A group of us visited Bhutan last October 2014 through Bhutan Mahayana Tours where Karma was my host. Bhutan is unlike any other country. It is shrouded in mystery, shielded from the glare of the outside world's spotlight and raciness, harnesses bewitching histories both complex and simple and, its tapestry of operation is one that leave one musing on its sensibilities long after one leaves these pristine landscapes.
To gain the most, one needs an astoundingly gifted guide. This is often a matter of 'luck of the draw' but I was ridiculously lucky I got the cream of the crop! I happened upon Karma and as the tour unfolded, so did his berth of knowledge, not just in relation to the Bhutanese culture, politics, histories, artistic strengths (which are unlimited) and traditions, but of his life and experiences both inside Bhutan and abroad. Karma is an exceptionally generous guide. He explains the intricate workings of a country we, as tourists, can only get an outside glimpse of and yet, coupled with the warm nature of the locals, one can't help but feel immensely invited, included in the fold. Karma not only masters this but he has a profound manner of bringing histories to life - the epitome of any truly gifted guide. Do not forget to ask him about the legacy of the Divine Madman; BRILLIANT and wildly hilarious!
Bhutan's landscapes are otherworldly; sweeping views, winding roads, the spread of vegetation and landscapes that alter from bend-to-bend, tantalises every sense a capacity that few countries can attest to possessing. The variety of wildlife is extraordinary too yaks meandering down the middle of the road with their shiny black coats, was a personal favourite; the dried yak's cheese stung politely in cubes and sold from roadside stalls, is an acquired taste! Given I was there in Spring, the blossoms and variety of flowers, the fruits and vegetables were both astonishingly pungent and delectable and, for any person, imbuing of a state of unbridled fantasy. The civic concord that melts all into one beautiful unity, with a touch of regal vigour spooning with the freedom and progression of democracy, only enhance the visuals around. The pride and investment felt by the leaders in order to preserve and enhance the everyday man/woman's way of life, is one that continues to enchant me...
Bhutan stands alone; it stands alone as a country so bewilderingly magnificent not only for its immense beauty, its wildlife, its mouth-watering 'emadatshi', its sense-driven politics but also, as a country with a really sound and proud sense of itself. There are few countries and I have been to a staggering number! that can be highlighted in such a manner as Karma enables.
My trip may have been fleeting but my memories remain long lasting, vivid. I cannot wait to return to see - and learn - more of this wondrous country from the inside-out, with Karma's guidance. I cannot speak highly enough of Karma, his service and his willingness to accommodate a few other activities such as impromptu archery contests, arranging to meet with Buddhist Masters in remote recesses etc. and this is coming from a well seasoned traveller who likes to 'go it alone'; i'm glad it wasn't possible! Thank you Karma, you're an absolute star, an inspiration! I sincerely recommend Bhutan Mahayana Tours if you are longing to visit Bhutan.
Clementine, Australia -
My name is Gerard Derulle from Belgium. Me and my wife visited Bhutan from 12 .3.2015 to 27.3.2015. We did a full tour of Bhutan from east to west. Our tour was organized by Bhutan Mahayana Tours and Karma was our Guide through out trip. Unfortunately my wife got sick due to altitude and karma took special care of her. It is because of his guidance our tour was not affected at all. From the half of the tour we had to change our guide due to some personal problem. Our new guide Kinley Penjorwhi is young and less experienced comparing to Karma but he was also very helpful and knowledgeable. Over all, our Bhutan trip was a dream come true as we planned this trip since long time ago.
It was very nice of Karma and others who runs the company came to see us personally at the end of our trip at Paro. No doubt that we recommend Bhutan to the fellow travellers and Bhutan Mahayana Tours for the arrangements.

I visited Bhutan for a short duration of one week from 1st of March to 8 of March. I had a wonderful experience with Bhutan Mahayana Tours. The company and their staff such an honest and caring person and I would highly recommend for single travellers like myself..Kunzang My guide went out his way to help me try and find a battery charger for my camera which was incredibly helpful and ensured my short solo trip was fully packed yet flexible so I got to see and do as much as possible. Bhutan is an amazing place and an awesome country which I will never forget mainly because of its people .
